Ages two to adult are welcome to take classes in Creative Dance, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Modern. Classes are offered year-round with an annual performance that each participates in.
CLASSICAL BALLET TRAINING
Classes for serious dancers are offered in Ballet and Pointe in our company levels. Emphasis is placed on coordination, musicality, and technical proficiency.The Sundance Ballet Company is the professional performance company of the Dance Scene Studio.
DANCE SCENE TEAM
The award winning Scene Team is a nationally competitive team that competes throughout the year. Team dancers train at the Dance Scene Studio taking nine classes per week with instructors and the team coach.
Let's DANCE
The award winning Dance Scene Studio is the first dance studio on the north coast, dating back to 1942. Directed by Carrie Badeaux, the studio offers a complete pre-professional ballet curriculum in addition to recreational classes to more than 150 students ranging from toddlers to adults in a supportive and encouraging setting. Each year The Dance Scene produces multiple dance productions including the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker.
